To be honest, I was quite intrigued by the cast of this film. It had to be a great film, just looking at the list of stars. And it’s 89% fresh at Rottentomatoes.
And the film did looking promising right from the beginning. The film looked smart and sophisticated, a bit like The Usual Suspects actually.
Well, it turned out this one was only a Usual Suspects wannabe. The plot tries too hard to be smart, and ends up unconvincing. There isn’t any real punch delivered, due to the fact that it drags too long before revealing that hidden twist– as a result, the viewing experience is far from exciting.
