And this week…
Okay, looks like my blog is being relegated to weekly summaries of where I’ve been clubbing… Thanks to Facebook and Flixster, I’m too lazy to write film reviews anymore… at least for now. Not to mention trying to write other stuff.
Anyways…
Because it was RO and Boot Camp this week, there has been a LOT of things going on. Seriously. Like partying almost every night. Like getting a total of 7 hours sleep for the weekend as a result, and here I am ready to pull another late-night, the only difference being this time I’m working…
I felt proud going in front of the newbies and saying, “I’ve been with firm for 14 months” and hear them say they’ve been here two weeks. I don’t feel old. I just feel that much more experienced. Heeeheee. And plus you get the opportunity to BS about stuff which you find really run-of-the-mill but for them are still words of wisdom. Sweet.
And I think it’s good to have them inject a healthy dose of energy to us. They are a young and lively bunch, and they are still in their honeymoon with the firm, and their eagerness and enthusiasm shows. This mood won’t last, but it does remind the veterans (including moi) of their own feelings for the firm. Better enjoy it while it lasts.
