Al Pacino’s latest film, the psychological thriller 88 Minutes is a blatant misfire. The plot is convoluted but confused, and makes about as much sense as the mind of the psycho killer it portrays. Pacino is still his old self, but his typical intensity is not enough to redeem this train-wreck. Avoid.
